Event Maritime Festival Gala Dinner with Stephen Scourfield
West Travel Club, City of Albany and Plantagenet Wines
Join Stephen Scourfield for the inaugural Maritime Festival West Travel Club Gala Dinner, being held in Albany.
In Partnership with the City of Albany, Maritime Festival and Plantagenet Wines.
Join Stephen Scourfield for the inaugural Maritime Festival West Travel Club Gala Dinner. You will be treated to an evening of Stephen Scourfield’s travel experiences, coupled with specially written musical accompaniment by Steve Richter.
Your tastebuds will also be entertained – Plantagenet Wines will be showcased, along with local fresh produce under the leadership of our guest chef Costa Simatos.
Make a weekend of it and stay overnight at the Hilton Garden Inn, Albany. They have wonderful accommodation deals including breakfast for any West Travel Club members. Call 1800 429 000 to book.
All dinner guests will be contacted 2 weeks before the night to confirm all the event details.
HOW IT WORKS
Chef Costa Simatos will prepare an exclusive menu, only ever to be served on this night.
Travel Editor Stephen Scourfield writes spoken-word stories to fit the food.
Musician Steve Richter composes music to be performed exclusively with the stories, before each course.
Each performance matches their spot in the evening. Entre is just a taster. Main course is the most substantial. Dessert is shorter and sweeter. (You get the picture.)
Welcome drinks, wine, beer, soft drinks and sparkling water, tea and coffee are all included, to lubricate the evening.
It all comes together in a magical evening.
It will happen just once. We hope you will be there …
(And our events sell out quickly.)
