Cruise dinner packed with sophistication
Oceania Cruises has unveiled an exclusive dining experience that pairs Dom Perignon’s acclaimed vintage champagnes with six "palate-piquing courses".
The luxurious meal — limited to 24 guests — is exclusive to the culinary- and destination-focused cruise line.
Oceania Cruises president Bob Binder says the concept was a team effort between the culinary teams of La Maison Dom Perignon and Oceania Cruises.
"We worked with the team at Dom Perignon to pair the perfect champagnes with the perfect flavours, and the outcome is spectacular," Mr Binder says.
"Marina and Riviera [voyages] will be the only places in the world for travellers to enjoy this exclusive Dom Perignon experience."
The dinner is offered to a maximum of 24 guests.
"We created this dinner to be sophisticated, memorable, a little bit decadent, but also a lot of fun. After all, champagne is all about celebration," Mr Binder says.
The pairing dinner costs $US295 (about $410) and reservations are required
