Veteran journalist, author and TV presenter George Negus will escort World Expeditions’ Travel for the Mind — Jordan, Israel and the Occupied Territories itinerary, offering an opportunity to see this part of the world through the eyes of a journalist experienced in the Middle East. If you're up for a physical challenge, R U OK? ambassador Steve Willis (aka Commando from The Biggest Loser) will lead the 2018 Conquer Kozi Challenge, an annual 18km charity walk to the summit of Australia’s Mt Kosciuszko, on March 9-11. Last year the event raised $76,000 for suicide prevention. Conquer Kozi costs $670 per person, which includes registration, two nights of multi-share accommodation and transfers from Jindabyne to Charlotte Pass. Participants are asked to raise at least $700 per person for the charity.

Food lovers can join chef Luke Mangan, best known for restaurants including Sydney’s Mojo and Salt in Singapore, Tokyo and aboard five P&O cruise ships, on a culinary journey through South-East Asia as part of his new collaboration with luxury train and travel company Belmond. In Singapore, guests will join Mangan on a morning food market exploration, before boarding the Eastern and Oriental Express sleeper train for a three-day journey through Malaysia from March 1-3.
