Join us on a photographic safari through East Africa
Travel Club's lead photographer Mogens Johansen will accompany this tailor-made tour.
Experience the best of East Africa and come home with fabulous photos of your adventure with our latest Travel Club Tour: a Kenya and Tanzania Photo Safari accompanied by Seven West Travel Club’s lead photographer Mogens Johansen.
The 15-night small-group tour for 12 guests has been tailor-made in partnership with Bench Africa and South African Airways. Departing on August 14, it’ll include highlights such as spotting wildlife on safari game drives and visits to the Masai Mara, the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Amboseli National Park and Lake Nakuru.
Mogens — an award-winning professional photographer with more than 30 years’ experience — will provide his advice and technical expertise throughout.
“I’m really excited about this tour,” he says. “It is a truly unique opportunity for anyone who loves photography — we will visit some of Kenya and Tanzania’s best-known attractions, which will provide unlimited photo opportunities of both the wildlife and the landscape.
“I look forward to sharing my passion for photography with our guests, and travelling with a small group of only 12 people means we can focus on getting the best possible pictures from the trip.
“I will give daily briefings on what to expect and there will be regular opportunities to view, admire and critique our pictures, plus I will be on hand to offer tips and help along the way.”
The trip, from August 14-29, costs $15,750 per person twin share ($17,665 per person single), with a saving of $50 for Seven West Travel Club Gold Members.
The price includes international and regional flights, accommodation, meals as per the itinerary, game drives and viewing, an English-speaking driver/guide, nature walks, cultural and village visits, entrance fees and bottled water while on safari.
Also included is a half-day travel photography session with Mogens before departure. Designed for the photo safari, it will cover information and techniques to help you get the best photographs, including the cameras and lenses that will provide the best results and tips for preparing and packing gear.
