Arrivals & Departures New Thai home targets fly-cruise passengers
Fond memories of sailing with Star Cruises? The cruise line now has a new Thai home for SuperStar Gemini.
Star Cruises has announced it would base SuperStar Gemini at Laem Chabang in Thailand saying it' s perfect for fly-cruise passengers with the benefit of having Bangkok as a gateway to the area.
From December the ship will call Thailand home, embarking on regular short trips to Cambodia.
The schedule has SuperStar Gemini embarking on three-night cruises to Sihanoukville in Cambodia and Koh Samui in Thailand every Sunday, two-night cruises to Sihanoukville every Wednesday and two-night cruises to Koh Kong Island in Cambodia every Friday.
As Cambodia's premier beach town, Sihanoukville will provide the tropical beach getaway with white sand beaches and warm Gulf of Thailand waters, while Koh Kong Island combines beaches with waterfalls and plenty of water activities.
Star Cruises will add two new “Global Class” cruise ships to its fleet in 2020 and 2021.
