Arrivals & Departures Take it slow to London
From Fremantle to London in 43 nights.
In an age where nonstop flights mean airlines are setting record times for long-haul trips — Qantas flew Perth to London in less than 17 hours last month — it’s nice to know there’s still an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the journey.
Cruise and Maritime Voyages has a package deal aboard the Astor, which leaves Australia on March 10 and travels to countries including Mauritius, Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia, Morroco and Portugal.
Astor, which caters to 620 passengers on seven decks, had an $18 million refurbishment in 2010.
Prices for the 45-night fly, cruise and stay package start from $7230 per person, which includes the flight back home.
