Welcome to our … A Nice Day Our with Wildflowers 2024!

West Travel Club one day tour in partnership with Australian Pinnacle Tours

We will again have WA wildflower expert Grady Brand onboard. He has encyclopaedic wildflower knowledge and is a great interpreter and narrator of WA’s landscapes. Grady was senior curator for Kings Park and Botanic Gardens for many years and greatly responsible for the Kings Park wildflower festival. He was also heavily involved in Kings Park’s gold medals wins at the Chelsea Flower Show in London in 1997 and 2000.

Mogens Johansen, our lead photographer and senior travel writer will join us to show guests how to improve their phone photography.

Travel Editor Stephen Scourfield will be onboard to host and run the day, and tell the stories of the places we will visit …

Stephen says:

“We call our coach days A Nice Day Out, as that’s just what they are — a lovely, social day in country WA, with a bit of a hunt for wildflowers and lots of opportunities to learn more about our phone cameras.”

We are partnering with Australian Pinnacle Tours again — more great friends, with over 35 vehicles in their fleet and locally owned and operated. We’ll be using one of their premium charter coaches renowned for its superior comfort, 5 star facilities featuring large viewing windows, onboard toilet, seat belts and a fantastic sound system to hear the expert commentary from you driver and guides.

Pinnacle Tours is assigning one of their best drivers and botanical guides to our day trips, to help us spot those wildflowers.

Meals are included in the $179 price, with a morning “tea and muffin” stop, a packed lunch and a snack during the afternoon.
